About the 2003 CAKI Awards
NEOSA is pleased to continue its partnership with Crains Cleveland Business to host the fifth annual Cleveland Area Knowledge Industry Awards the 2003 CAKI Awards.
The acronym is a play on the word khaki associated with many internet-driven businesses casual work attire.
NEOSAs President, James B. Cookinham, spearheaded the creation of this Premier Information Technology Awards Program three years ago with the goal to showcase Northeast Ohios IT Industry talent. Each year the CAKI Awards recognizes regional technology-based companies that have developed new state-of-the-art initiatives as well as traditional bricks companies that have implemented cutting-edge technologies.
Our mission is to grow the IT Industry in Northeast Ohio, says Mr. Cookinham of NEOSA, which incorporated in 1998 as a nonprofit organization and is a member of Ohios IT Alliance. The CAKI Awards acknowledge efforts being made in Northeast Ohios IT arena and foster growth of new companies and initiatives. The winners reflect the regions current talent pool of new and/or improved and diverse technology ventures and initiatives. Its exciting to see what is being developed in Northeast Ohio and we are pleased to highlight these efforts through our annual CAKI Awards program.
Each year the CAKI Award categories are reviewed to reflect the current trends within the IT Industry. This year there are 8 categories from which the Awards will recognize the best of the up and coming IT areas being developed in Northeast Ohio.
